During this tour, you will see all the major attractions in the city center including Diocletian's Palace and Split old town, UNESCO's World Heritage site. This tour includes also the most spectacular views of the old town of Split and surroundings from the very best locations in the city.

First, we will visit Diocletian's Palace and old Split town, UNESCO world heritage sites, including entrances to the most interesting sites inside the Palace:

St. Domnius Cathedral - one of the oldest cathedrals in the world, with elements dating back to 3rd century A.D.

Substructure halls of Diocletian's Palace - the unique basement complex preserved from the original Roman period of construction, witnessing today the grandiosity of the Emperor’s residential villa.

Temple of Jupiter / Baptistery of St. John - built inside the Palace as Diocletian considered the highest Roman god, Jupiter, to be his divine father. Later, transformed into Christian baptistery this temple became one of the best-preserved remains from Split ancient period.

The entrance to St. Domnius bell tower (60 meters high) can also be programmed during this tour as the additional tour opportunity. From the peak of the bell tower, you can enjoy a spectacular scenario over Diocletian's palace, old houses, the port of Split and nearby islands! The cost of the ticket is 7 € / person. Please note: there are lots of stairs and dizzy heights, therefore this option is not recommended to everybody.

After lunch in a traditional Dalmatian "trattoria" (optional, additional cost approx. 15 € / person), we will walk to the western side of the town to enjoy the panorama of the city from different angle (fishermen's harbour) and then we will proceed to Saint Stephen's peak to enjoy some great sea views. In the end, we will reach the peak of medieval Veli Varos quarter to enjoy the "postcard" views of Split old town and port from Belvedere spot.
