How to travel from Split to Krka National Park?

Krka National Park is located about 90 km North-West from Split. There are 2 ways to travel from Split to Krka national Park: by car or by bus.

Traveling from Split to Krka National Park by car

From Split to Krka National Park there are two ways: motorway and highway A1 (about 60 km of highway out of approx. 95 km of the entire road). The highway is recommended as it is the faster way to arrive; the journey is about 1h 15min, depedning on traffic conditions. The recommended entrance of Krka park is Skradin, a small city located at the estuary of the Krka river, from which you can take a boat ride (approx. 30 minutes journey) to the entrance of the park. A large parking lot (on payment) is located in the center of Skradin, close to the boat line pier.

Traveling from Split to Krka National Park by bus

From the main bus station in Split (Autobusni kolodvor Split) you need to take the bus to Skradin. The prices of the tickets are already from 10 EUR in one direction, journey approx. 1h15 min up to 1h45min, depending on the bus agency. The tickets can be purchased online at GetbyBus: Bus Split - Skardin or you can buy them at the main bus terminal in Split. The main bus station in Split is located within the harbour area of Split, in the city center, therefore this is the most convenient way to travel from the city center of Split to Krka National Park.
