Traveling from Split to Plivice National Park by car
From Split to Plitvice lakes there are about 260 km of road. The highway A1 (about 175 km of highway out of approx. 260 km of the entire road) is recommended as it is the fastest way to arrive; the journey is about 3h 30min, depedning on traffic conditions.

Traveling from Split to Plitvice National Park by bus
From the main bus station in Split (Autobusni kolodvor Split) you need to take the bus to Plitice Lakes (Plitvička jezera). The prices of the tickets are already from 18 EUR in one direction, journey time from 3h30 min up to 5h50min, depending on the bus agency. The tickets can be purchased online at GetbyBus: Bus Split - Plitvice or you can buy them at the main bus terminal in Split. The main bus station in Split is located within the harbour area of Split, in the city center, therefore this is the most convenient way to travel from the city center of Split to Plitvice National Park.
